It works and makes it easy to see where we're going wrong. Don't know if you know of or use My Fitness Pal? http://www.myfitnesspal.com/ You track all your food in the app or on the website. It tells you the macros for each ingredient/meal and you can set it according to how you eat or want to eat. I have it at Protein 40% Carbs 30% and fat 30%.. Also you can add people to your friend list so you can look at each others diaries and motivate each other. Good luck. But I fell off and it crept back again.

Mum's trying the 2:5 fasting thing she watched on telly, it resonated with her as her grandmother used to do same, and was very alert, healthy and lived a long life.

I might try it... though tend to shy away from things that sound extreme, but mum is doing 5 normal days and 2 on 600 calories.

Aaagh. I don't know.

Am really glad to read you're feeling more positive. xKaveyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16662875905365870280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5566828350692313875.post-21504487700575581212012-08-10T09:20:05.596+01:002012-08-10T09:20:05.596+01:00I've been exercising loads for months now - th...I've been exercising loads for months now - that's included in my 1,000.
I think burning calories is a myth ;-)Miss Whiplashhttp://allthethingsieat.blogspot.co.uk/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5566828350692313875.post-50831535862265272212012-08-09T14:17:55.786+01:002012-08-09T14:17:55.786+01:00@Miss W - I guess there are bonuses to weighing a ...@Miss W - I guess there are bonuses to weighing a lot; I still get to have quite a lot of calories and should still lose weight. I can see that you would want to enjoy all of your 1,000 calories. Bear in mind that you get more when you exercise though! Rowing burns off tons.

@Shed - thanks!
